Die 
.BR scandir() \-Funktion
durchsucht das Verzeichnis
.I dir
und ruft für jeden Verzeichniseintrag
.B select()
auf.
Die Einträge, bei denen 
.B select()
einen Wert ungleich 0 zurückliefert werden in Strings gespeichert. Der
Speicher wird dabei mit
.B malloc()
reserviert. Danach werden die Strings mit
.B sort()
sortiert wobei die Vergleichsroutine
.B compar()
benutzt wird. Am Schluss werden die Strings im Array
.I namelist
gespeichert, dessen Speicher ebenfalls mit

reserviert wird.
