Linux unterstützt verschiedene Ausführungsumgebungen für jeden
Prozess.  Die Ausführungsebene sagt Linux, wie es zwischen den Prozessen
die Signalnummern in Signalaktionen umsetzen soll.  Das Ausführungssystem
erlaubt Linux, teilweise für andere Unix-Systeme kompilierte Programme
direkt laufen zu lassen.
