<headline>New Project WebGraph</headline>

<p>Infodrom Oldenburg has started the WebGraph project, that aims at
providing webserver maintainers overview graphics about website
usage.</p>

<p>The Internet obviously lacked a utility that visualises website
usage in real-time.  Detailied analysis is done by <a
href="http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/">webalizer</a>.  This utility
displays entry and exit pages, entry referers and the like, which is
quite helpful.  However, nothing is done in realtime and you don't
know what's going on with the websites now (or in the past 10
minutes).</p>

<p>This is where WebGraph comes in.  The generated graphs are based on
the <a href="http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/">RRDtool</a> by Tobi
Oetiker.</p>
