<headline>New version 1.4.1 released</headline>

<p>Today I finally took enough time to fix the broken 1.4.0 version of
sysklogd.  This release is mainly a bugfix release.  Most important
fixes contain:

<p><ul>
<li> Make klogd send log messages to sysklogd using the proper socket
     configuration.  Due to a broken patch this didn't work anymore.
<li> Don't go crazy when log messages with zero ('\0') appear.  Due to
     a bug in the Linux kernel some such messages were spread out
     making klogd enter a busy loop eating all available CPU cycles.
