<p>This release is an important milestone and reflects a much more
modern  state than old package based on the Elm source.  Non-ascii
characters are now converted according to the given locale and will
hence be displayed properly.</p>

<p>When the locale is set properly (using LANG or LC_CTYPE) non-ascii
characters will be automatically converted into the current charset
before they are displayed.</p>
