<headline>Request for Translations</headline>

<p>A new upstream version of Gerstensaft is in preparation and the
code has been mostly fixed.  The set of translatable <a
href="http://cvs.infodrom.org/gerstensaft/po/gerstensaft.pot">strings</a>
should therefore also be fixed by now and may be translated into other
languages.  The package is fully internationalised and ready to accept
translations via gettext functionality.</p>

<p>Since translators should get a chance to provide a working
translation before the new upstream version is released, development
will is being put on hold for a while.  At the moment there are 81
strings to be translated in the entire package.  Compared with many
other projects this is not much and they can be translated within one
or two hours.</p>

<p>However, testing and reviewing may still require more time.  Thus,
please drop Joey or the <a href="ml.php">list</a> a note if you're
working on a translation.  That way he can add a note to wait for your
translation and will not forget it.</p>
