<p>Besides dtaus there is a second format specification called
<em>Auslandszahlungsverkehr</em> which targets at international money
transfer.  The format is more complex and requires governmental and
toll coordination as well.</p>

<p>I wonder if it would make sense creating a program which supports
this format.  Hence, people who would use such a program should drop
me a line or contact the <a href="ml.php">mailing list</a>.  Assuming
this program would be appreciated another problem would be finding out
international bank and currency codes...</p>
